    Trixia Salonga

Hi! I'm Trixia and welcome to my slice of life. I'm not your average blogger, I'm a hybrid of multi-dimensional shoujo, a rare breed of legal loli and a unique original producer of ideas and inspiration. My path goes on the other side of the road which is less traveled, where thrill and excitement rests. This blog holds my inner thoughts, experiences, opinions and out-of-the-ordinary theories which I keep as a journal of my life's highlights. The Family was on the way to find a great restaurant at dinner. As we were strolling along the road of Susano, I saw this sole restaurant just along the streets, curious and intrigued with the new venue, we challenged ourselves to try it out.

    Brief History:
The family's favorite dishes is Chinese cuisine. One of which that has served almost all celebrations of the family is Dory's restaurant, when the great chef was still managing the business, but to our demise, the chef passed away. We were left with emptiness and in search of same delicious cuisine that we had but to no avail.

Back to Empress restaurant, so there we are, the place was nice, clean, air conditioned and the set up was very much like the same vintage Chinese restaurants we visited.

First served was the Nido soup, we thought that it was the same with what we tasted but to our surprise, it tasted the genuine Nido soup were looking for.

Then served next was Yang chow Fried rice and Spare ribs Taosi, then Pata Tim. All three dishes were so great all the hard work throughout the day paid off. We were all so satisfied, happy, warmly welcomed. served well, with the right reasonable price.

Our whole day was tiring and exhausting but with this all of those gone. The restaurant also had a big place reserved for events, surely a must place to come back again!

The family has once again found a restaurant to look forward to (*^_^*)

I kept an old monitor up at home. It still works flawlessly although it does takes a lot of space. Mine is a vacuum tube type, compared with the new version monitors (LCD) type, the LCD as time passes by it  dims, while the vacuum tube, remains bright.

I wanted to keep my Monitor but was thinking of ways to put designs on it, and these are what I came up with.

One on the top, I imagined this myself, looking at the computer monitor from the top.
The other one is carrying the monitor screen

    and the famous hand pointer.

Simple as it is it brought life to my Monitor, someday soon i'll design better versions but to those that have  their old monitors and thinks ways to give them a new look I do hope my Idea is quite helpful.

Japanese Hot Springs are popular among the Japanese culture and is now one of the tourist destinations. This is a spot where people get to relax. Hot Springs and Public baths differ from each other in terms of their heat mechanisms, Hot springs use geothermal energy and in Public Baths, heated tap water. Hot Springs are believed to have healing powers derived from its mineral content.
Men and women baths are separated or mixed.

Holders are seen for bath essentials

Racks where one can place clothes are separately arranged.
In Public Baths, the practice of cleansing self is essential for hygienic purposes. One must cleanse in these shower cubicles before bathing in the Public Baths.

Outdoor and Indoor baths can be chosen. This one is for Male Outdoor Bath

Bathing naked can be uncomfortable to some people, but in their culture, virtues such as "naked communion" is practiced for breaking down barriers getting to know people in the relaxed and homey atmosphere.

I am a big fan of minimalist designs, and as I was browsing through one design, this caught my eye.

Its actually a table that has a rippling effect on it. Amazing isn't it? These table designs came from Japan, it is low table so that a person can sit on the floor comfortably. I really love to have one of these!

I found this wonderful  Chinese Painting on the Net and wanted to share.
This Painting reminds me of the method that I used back in highschool and surprised that it was performed by Great Artists.
