Doraemon I’m Your Hero ROADventure Ends the Year With a Bang

November 19, 2017 3:00 pm --- We we're invited to attend DoraemonPH at SM Mall of Asia for an exciting event to meet Doraemon and friends. I decided to make an original character named Meaw 2.0 for the event. We took the MRT and Jeep from around 12:00 pm and arrived at exactly 3:00pm on the event place, yes the LRT had stops and jeepney waited for ten years before we got into the venue.

I used a pastel pink Jacket with my pastel boots and black socks to achieve a cuter version of the Meaw 2.0.

My contact lens is EOS which I finally was able to acquire from Shopee. Here I was sipping water from my Bling Bling cup brought from Hypermarket, completely unspillable.

A final look before heading out.

We look for the contact person once arrived and also had selfies on the Christmas Tree.

I immediately went up the stage to join the picture taking of Doraemon and friends!
The passage way to the event is a cute graffiti of Doraemon.

An option to buy the Doraemon goodies is on the side.
This is a mini bus where you can snap a picture of Doraemon's room.
Ahhh. the main entrance is filled with Christmas feel.

We were given starbucks coffee and bread stub as a meal.

    Press Release

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, July 25 /PR Creato/ - Animation International, Philippines. What an amazing year it
was for Doraemon and Animation International Philippines! The country’s favorite cat-type robot from
the future, Doraemon, visited over 13 malls, 12 schools, 25 venues this year! Starting August at SM North
EDSA, Doraemon has touched and inspired millions of people all over the metro. Guided by the themes:
Dream of Childhood, Teaching Compassion, A Comedic Approach, and Technology & The Future. With
shoutouts such as Big Smile, Love Doraemon, Stand Out Speak Out, Be A Buddy to Everybody, Do It with
Confidence, I’ve Got Your Back, Better Future Better You, and Dream Bigger.

    I’m Your Hero
Heroes come in countless shapes and sizes. We are all used to the typical masked caped crusader with
superpowers but Doraemon is unlike your usual hero. Through the I’m Your Hero campaign, his happy,
helpful, and heroic character is celebrated beyond the confines of the TV shows and comics.

    ROADventure
Aiming to promote positivity and inspiring everyone to be heroes in their own little ways, the I’m Your Hero campaign went around a series of ROADventure shows in SM North EDSA, SM Manila, SM Masinag, SM East Ortigas, SM Sta. Mesa, SM Bicutan, SM Fairview, SM San Mateo, SM BF Paranaque, SM Dasmarinas, Robinson’s Manila, and SM Mall of Asia.
Animation International Philippines showcased the first ever Doraemon “I’m Your Hero” van where the participants can like, shoot, post, and share their photos and unique experience during the event. Doraemon lovers flocked the ROADventure venues taking selfies around the 16-ft Inflatable Doraemon. Fans roared in excitement as Doraemon and Nobita offered exciting performances capping it off with a Meet and Greet.

    School Adventure
Doraemon also visited schools through a series of tours entitled School Adventure where he stirred happiness and confidence-building to kids. Schools like UNO Highschool, Escuela de Sofia, Diliman
Preparatory School, Dominican College, Don Bosco Makati, Southville International School and Colleges, OB Montessori participated, to name a few.
Children from different ages enjoyed the Doraemon-themed games and activities! Limited edition Doraemon items were also given out as prizes. Kids were ecstatic as Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo, and Damulag surprised them during the school event.

Truly the I’m Your Hero campaign has strengthened Doraemon’s brand visibility in the Philippines and for the market to be associated with the brand. Through the I’m Your Hero tours, Doraemon’s success in the Philippines proved promising and we’re sure to look forward to more exciting efforts from Animation International Philippines in the coming years!
