“DRAGON BALL DAIMA” EPISODIC SERIES TO STREAM WITH SUBTITLES ON CRUNCHYROLL THIS OCTOBER

Manila, Philippines (September 13, 2024) – In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s original manga, which launched the Dragon Ball anime franchise, legendary studio Toei Animation brings fans a brand-new adventure. Dragon Ball DAIMA, the upcoming original anime series based on a new Dragon Ball story and characters from creator Akira Toriyama, will be available to stream with subtitles on Crunchyroll starting October 11 globally and including the Philippines, followed by new weekly subtitled episodes simulcast with the Japanese TV broadcast.
Dragon Ball DAIMA: Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small. What sort of adventure awaits Goku, Supreme Kai, and the new characters Glorio and Panzy in this unknown world, the “Demon Realm”?
Dragon Ball DAIMA is directed by Yoshitaka Yashima (key animator, Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge) and Aya Komaki (series director, One Piece) together with series composition and scenario by Yuko Kakihara and animation character design by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.
Of note, the series features the opening theme song “Jaka Jaan” composed by Grammy Award-winning artist Zedd with support from C&K, the singer-songwriting duo of CLIEVY and KEEN, who also provided vocals. Lyrics are by Yukinojo Mori, best known for the Dragon Ball franchise songs “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” and “Limit Break x Survivor.” This song and the powerhouse collaboration behind it mark a new page in Dragon Ball history. Zedd will also be producing the ending song “’NAKAMA’ by ZEDD feat. AI”, whose lyrics were written and sung by the artist AI.
Dragon Ball DAIMA was revealed to the world last October to thunderous applause at the Dragon Ball Special Panel during New York Comic Con 2023. This new episodic series celebrates the birth of the global Dragon Ball phenomenon— commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original manga created by Akira Toriyama that first launched in 1984 in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” and since then has sold an astounding 260 million copies worldwide and counting.
Produced by Toei Animation, the Dragon Ball anime franchise has achieved tremendous global success—taking its place in mainstream pop culture and boasting a multi-generational fan base. This DIVIMART HAUL is soo GOOD, you won't BELIEVE it's less 200 pesos!

We had a quick errand to run at Divimart. We’ve been working on constructing our DIY Tiny Kitchen in our home office because it really needs a makeover. Anyway, we visited the Divimart crossroads. We discovered Divimart a while back and were surprised by the many low-priced products they offer! I went from aisle to aisle and found products I was interested in coming back to buy. We were eager to check out the belt bag we saw last time; it’s perfect for quick errands and the monster hunts we love to do every day.

When we got back, there was still a good selection, but a brown one seemed to interest me the most. They actually had so many cute bags I was interested in buying, but maybe next time.

Anyway, we spent about two hours browsing. There were so many interesting things everywhere that it took a long time to check them out one by one. I even overheard a man talking to his companion about how they planned to buy so many things that they couldn’t choose!

But the best part was when I was browsing the sunglasses section. At first, I didn’t like what was on display, but when I checked again, I found some gems! The sunglasses I found were so cute and complemented my round face perfectly—they were exactly what I was looking for, and even better!

The one pair that looked metallic gold was heavy and of amazing quality! I couldn’t take my hands off it. Then I found a really cute pinkish pair with a bit of a cat-eye shape; it complemented my face really well! Lastly, I found a flesh-toned pair that had a subtle, earthy look, so I took that one as well.

How much were these purchases? The bag was around 240 pesos, and the three pairs of glasses were also 240 pesos each! Omg!!! What a bargain! I wish more people would discover them so they could stay in business longer because they have really great stuff!
