The other day… My bestfriend and I were talking about kdrama. It took sometime but I remembered this one korean girl I was so eager to find when she suddenly stopped doing kdramas. The actress from Sassy Girl Chun-hyang, Han Chae-young. Back then, I was always asking meaw to find her for me however he never really understood who she was and even though I searched, the only trace I could find was when she married and that‘s it.

Why did she strike an impression on me out of all the other korean stars?

WHY DO I LIKE SASSY GIRL CHUN-HYANG THAN OTHER KDRAMAS?

You see, Han Chae-young or Sassy Girl Chun-hyang is different. I do think everyone knows that. It’s because she even got the title “Barbie Girl” or "Barbie Doll of Korea" from the press. I feel that everyone felt the same empty disappointment when she suddenly retired. She was at the height of her career after all!

So what made her different from the rest?

Chae-Young had the most tantalizing smile! Even surfaced photos of her so-called plastic surgery, there is one feature that stands above the rest and oh Gosh, even if she had improvement on this part I would thank the technology in making her so beautiful during her youth!

So lately, I was scrolling though Youtube and suddenly I found videos of her being featured! God, did I thank the universe for finally revealing her to me! I was looking for her for years! Then so here are the videos I found of her:

She was in KBS WORLD TV and thank you Lord that I was subscribed here that I see a new update of her.

It was actually a surprise to everyone when she came back to the camera, as everyone know she can‘t cook but now she is sharing all her cooking hacks and is even so good at it! Actually, we even got the same technique of being a rice cooker type of cook!

Apparently, Chae-young loves pink and most of her appliances and cooking utensils are pink!

I’ve always idolized how beautiful she was and seeing her now, she still has that beautiful smile and eyes that I soooo adore!

So you would wonder if Sassy Girl Chun-hyang would be back in lime light for good now?

Well, I also ask that question. We all miss her after all and having a glimpse of what life she had got nostalgia sickness on the rise!

But I would never force her to go back into shooting series again or being in front of the camera, I'm always happy where she is right now although of course we we're all so curious where she was after all. Now that we know, who else do you want to find out where they are now?

GETTING READY FOR A DAY OF NATURE AND FUN

It was a hot summer Sunday when we scheduled a treat for the seniors. We rented a van and invited Meaw's mom and her two elderly sisters to the Plant Convergence, an international plant fair exhibit and market held at the Quezon Memorial Circle.

Here we are while waiting for the van, took selfies. So, as usual, she commented on my excessive selfies while we waited in the van

We've been debating the composition for the videos, but at the last moment, an idea struck me. I thought I'd wear elf ears since it's the perfect concept for being in nature. Thanks to that video of hobbits, I came up with this idea. I didn't want to be over the top, so I just wore the top one of the seniors gave me, ripped shorts, and it felt good on such a hot day.

As usual, my mom forgot about this, so I asked her to come early in the morning to QCMC and check out the plants. She was surprised to see Meaw's mom and her sisters, but my mom is really good at communicating—much better than I am, actually. She's a natural social person, unlike me. I've forgotten how to socialize after being cooped up at home working; I never really get the chance to mingle.

When all the seniors met, I reintroduced them to her (she has dementia, so I remind her who they are from time to time).

AT THE PLANT CONVERGENCE

While in the van, I explained that communicating in English is a must since it's an international market exhibit. At the entrance, we registered and wrote down my website.

I reminded Mom to get what she liked as we looked around. They were so active despite the high sun; this was around 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Some plants that caught my eye included the staghorn and the snake-like plant, and also a display of a mannequin with roses.

This type of plant also caught my eye; it looked like chains! Meaw found the plant I was looking for, the heart-shaped leaf plant, which is really delicious when used in dishes. Gladly, Mom was able to plant a whole tree in our backyard.

We loved posing with the flowers and taking small breaks. Your elf and her little pooch had so much fun at the Plant Convergence. Especially since it's the perfect bonding time for us, the seniors, and baby Chu.

Meanwhile, Meaw was caught up with the mist generator that helps control the climate conditions for the plants. I was very amused playing with the atmospheric look on the video. By the way, it is cool where the mist is, so I really liked staying there. It's like having an outdoor air humidifier for the plants!

Cacti were present in the booths and they caught my mom's eye as usual. The colors of the orchids were definitely candy for her eyes, especially since these are her favorite colors—the shades of purple!

Before we left, we bought large cookies sold at the mini booths area. Meaw's mom fancied the dirty ice cream and gave us each some. While in the van, I told them our next destination was the unlimited seafood restaurant.

NEXT DESTINATION: BALAI SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

This one is a bit farther, located in Lagro. It's a house that was converted into a mini-restaurant. They use kotatsu tables, which are cute, and their interiors are cozy. We took the 299 package each and were initially given chicken and rice, then they served shrimp, octopus, and clams unlimited after a few minutes.

I was stuffed since the seniors couldn't eat their platters and gave them to me, so in the end, I ended up with a large belly full of seafood. By the way, I kept apologizing to them as we were clumsy that day and confused with the seating arrangements, but they were so courteous.

Our last destination was not in the plan, but Meaw's mom wanted to drop by the church in St. Peter's. However, I thought that me and Chu wouldn't be allowed, so we went to the best-known pet-friendly church in Quezon City, OLAP (Our Lady of Annunciation Parish).

That ended the memorable weekend with the seniors. It is tough to get them all together on the same day since Meaw's mom is far away and everyone has their own schedules, but this day was so worth it for the memories.
