    Trixia Salonga

Hi! I'm Trixia and welcome to my slice of life. I'm not your average blogger, I'm a hybrid of multi-dimensional shoujo, a rare breed of legal loli and a unique original producer of ideas and inspiration. My path goes on the other side of the road which is less traveled, where thrill and excitement rests. This blog holds my inner thoughts, experiences, opinions and out-of-the-ordinary theories which I keep as a journal of my life's highlights. Rainy day sour soup

I always loved rainy days, it floods on our first floor but it doesn't matter, why? Well, I find myself more productive during rainy season. Summer would always get into my head and heat pressure is too much that I can't take. It would be nice if it was cloudy to shady even and if there would be rain, I wished it'd rain in La Mesa Dam and Angat Dam where water is needed the most.

This past few rainy days, there were two depressions that past by namely Dodong and Egay and believe it or not, it was not with these two that we got flooded, it was only one night of a Thunderstorm alert from Pag-asa and most streets and villages flooded, worse is water level at dam wasn't affected, but when everything is mostly dark clouds during the day, I've convinced my partner to have my most favorite soup, sour soup.

It was maybe what my body was telling me to increase my immune system because at the trip to grocery I immediately got worse colds and asthma, I couldn't breath. We bought in ingredients of the sour soup for home cooking. The photos I'm showing to you was at Fishermall, it was a rainy day at that time and so cold I forgot to bring a jacket, stupid of me. Anyway, he was given sour soup too with his Pancit with crispy shredded pork on sides, says he wasn't too hungry at that moment.

His gazes from my far left shoulder became more frequent and I've asked him the reason, he said he saw someone familiar, of course with my acknowledment to greet that person, he said that person is busy spending time with loved one and looked as if didn't want to be bothered, it was a comedy a few days after because that person did recognize him but was thankful that he let that moment be spent peacefully with family and that his voice could be clearly heard from where that person is sitting.

The iced tea felt that it was a complete irony and gave me shivers at the end of my meal again, but imagine the sourness of the soup then followed by sweetness of iced tea, it wasn't so bad after all.

Rainy days ended abruptly, I was a little sad since it's tough to work on hot days again but I can't wait to look forward to another cold shady season once more to have a different bowl of soup. I was thinking how about a boiled bone soup next wouldn't be all that bad, wouldn't it?
