We Went to Batangas to Look at Properties by the Sea

    I don’t go out often.
I’m very much a homebody—some would say a hermit—so whenever there’s a reason to leave the house, especially for a road trip, I get ridiculously excited.

We were given a task of visiting some properties in Batangas. She arranged for us to meet the realtor at SM North EDSA, where a van would pick us up.

The properties are located at Seafront Residences by AboitizLand in San Juan, Batangas. I can’t exactly say it’s close—if you look at the map, it’s literally near the bottom of Luzon. Still, leaving so early in the morning made the drive surprisingly smooth, and the trip felt shorter than expected.

When we arrived, we first stopped by their clubhouse area. There we saw the swimming pool, a life-size diorama map of the development, and their restaurant and lounge area.

Update: This post contains a lot of photos, so I organized them into expandable galleries to keep the page loading smoothly. Feel free to click each section to view the full gallery.

Here are the Photos when we were picked up and the time we touched down at Seafront Residences.

The first property we toured was an empty house, which allowed us to walk through and explore the space. In this post, though, I wasn’t able to share photos of the interior because I was filming instead of taking pictures. I’ll be sharing that in a video soon.

There were actually a lot of empty houses around, and the whole compound was huge—it would be impossible to explore everything on foot without breaking a leg, hahaha.

They were very gracious in giving us a tour of the area. One of the best parts for me was seeing the maid’s quarters strategically placed with its own separate entrance, which is honestly a life changer! The house seems perfect for young people or couples, as the stairs might be a bit much for seniors.

The roof also has a veranda that lets you see the man-made lagoon, which is definitely a nice bonus for the location.

Here are the photos of the First Property tour which is near Lagoon.

Lunch time—omg. I didn’t expect them to be so generous with lunch, haha.  They served my favorite sinigang,
along with incredible pancit and fish fillet.
It still makes me drool just thinking about it while writing this!
Eating beside the sea, with the infinity pool right there, was just… omg.

The huge condominium at Seafront was still under construction when we arrived. because of that, we weren’t able to tour the inside of the building,
but we were given a tour around the rest of the premises.
They were also very welcoming and treated us to shakes and more food.
The food photos aren’t included here because I was filming instead at that time.
They also have these cemented manhole-style rooms for short stays near the beach. It looks quite eccentric compared to the usual accommodations,
but that’s exactly what makes it unique.
The second property was the one just adjacent to the condominium, and it was priced higher even though it was still just a piece of land.

The last property we toured was located beside the large Seafront compound. To reach it, we had to exit the estate and cross to the other side of the road. The developers also own that area, and it offers larger lots at more affordable prices. The only trade-off is that it’s quite a walk to the beach—but on the bright side, it’s also farther from flooding.

After visiting the last property, it was finally time for us to head back. It had been a long day, but a really memorable one. From the early morning road trip to exploring the properties, enjoying an unexpectedly generous lunch, and simply taking in the beautiful seaside views, the whole experience turned into a small adventure of its own.

As someone who doesn’t go out very often, trips like this always feel extra special. It’s nice to step outside my usual routine and see new places, even if it’s just for a day. Batangas definitely gave us a refreshing change of scenery.

If you’ve ever visited San Juan, Batangas or explored Seafront Residences, I’d love to hear about your experience too. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment.
