Vintage Clairol True to light Mirror

In the internet it is also known as:

REMINGTON TRUE-TO-LIGHT LM8 LM-8 MAKE-UP VANITY MIRROR LIGHT-UP.

A gift from my meaw yesterday got me very curious of this Vintage Mirror. It had a history in being part of beauty since 1931. It was in a good working condition and everything worked perfectly.

He said that this suit me for my travel needs, especially for my cosplay events. I had a lot of trouble finding the right light setting for my makeup, and ends up correcting the shades along the way, it was frustrating. I tried it out today and was very happy.

It has 2 adjustable fold out, side mirrors, and a large center mirror. The center mirror rotates for magnification. The fluorescent light bulbs are replaceable.

It has 4 settings for Day, Office, Evening, and Home plus ON and OFF button.

Clairol is a personal-care-product division of Procter & Gamble begun in 1931 by Americans Lawrence and Joan Gelb after discovering hair-coloring preparations while traveling in France.

Im wearing my Kurapika shirt from highschool. I had Miaka too but I think it was lost T_T. This was a personalized airbrush shirt from SM North Edsa

Now I'll be able to have my vanity with me in my events and be able to test out the light settings for my makeup shades. I am soo delighted!

The right light setting and proper mirror is an essential tool for a cosplayer or anyone that will be photographed.

It is similar to a Medical doctor profession. A car is a necessity not a want. Doctors would need a car in order to assist them in getting to the hospital faster.

I am looking forward to what kind of beauty she produces :) I still love to name her Clairol, beautiful name :)

My Movie Inspirations

Among the greatest movies that I love, Among them is Jet Li , as a monk, a man (human) and a legendary white snake. The movie's name is The Sorcerer and the White Snake starring Jet Li. The movie had an interesting Plot I loved every scene there was from the very start of the story.

I had an assignment, regarding combination of two animal photos and dramatic scenery.
I experimented with different Lighting Techniques and Filters to blend out the elements.

In here I used Dark Intensity as Filter. My Hair is a Peacock and legs are from the snakes.

This Filter is Diffuse Glow, this is one of my favorites it looked very very magical and the glow compliments the whole scenery without overpowering the elements.

This is my normal Photo color of the body, except for the snakes, which I added a little sepia tones to match the color of the background.

This is the final blended out of the features.

another assignment is the combination of the animals, I combined Bat wings + snapping turtle + lizard tail to create this set off tones and there it is. This pose is inspired by How to Train your Dragon movie.

Daddy

To many people he is called Daddy, almost everyone calls him that, not only because he is the father to his 3 children, Kuya Tawey, Ate Ianne and Kuya Robin, but was also considered as a father to all. I call him Daddy too, although, I was raised without the presence of a father, he was the one I looked up as my father, besides his father- Tatay Jose.

For me, he was more than any Dad out there, He was not only my father, but my bestfriend, teacher, adviser, protector and defendor. He is the person that shows me what a real father is like, he showed me that even though caring and protecting are qualities of a father but also a supportive and has the greatest faith on her daughter, because of that I was able to do many unbelievable things, including solving algebra, and believe it or not, I gained highest scores at Math back in college.

At times when I get very confused and I do not know what to do, he would always be there, never failing to get me back on track after conversation with him. He may not know it, but I always feel safe whenever I am with him, he always makes me feel secure from any harm that might happen.

Hina-Matsuri (Doll or Girls day)

Hinamatsuri (Doll's Day or Girl's Day) is held on March 3. On this day, people put their special doll collection (hina-ningyo), I dont have a doll collection yet, but I found this Big Bear on SM Mall and I would like to bring it home with me if it's fine^^

I am wearing this dress that mom gave to me on my birthday... ^^ hope you like it and Greet Happy Hina-Matsuri to all the beautiful girls out there! ^^

Susci's Photoshoot

Brief History about Susci is that I found her in a storage area where she was left alone collecting dust, she was almost about to be thrown away, but when I saw her I knew her beauty is irresistible. Back then, No one can recognize her, she was almost destroyed, her insides are protruding and she was pitch black.

Firstly, I had to repair her damages, she actually have a lot of stitches, when I stitched her up, it didn’t look good on her, I thought of ways wherein I can hide that but didn’t work. One time, I was staring at my phone and I began to get an idea that it will be great if she’ll travel with me all the time, I measured her body to my cellphone and surprised that it fits her well. I had to dissect her ~ sorry for the term and combination of sewing and measuring and dissecting. Then tada~ she is now a piece of art! A real teddy bear cellphone Case!

I took her home immediately and took care of her. When I thought of a name for her, I am reminded of the times how I began to resuscitate her, from almost dump to a work of art, thus I named her from the word RESUSCITATE ----SUSCI.

She was just too cute and whenever I answer a phone call, it looked like I am only holding out a teddy bear near my face and being sweet~.

Sometimes, I do have some problems carrying her on my bag, she might be cute, but she does take space! But seriously when I put her in my bag and she pops out,she still looks like a cute accessory. Often I am concerned when she attracts too much attention and might also attract robbers or holdapers, but whenever I hold her and walk around carrying her, people believes that it’s actually a small teddy bear, as long as I don’t take it out and use the cellphone.

When I carry her, people think it's only a teddy bear and does not think there's a cellphone in it.
She’s been with me even at the darkest and scariest places here in the Philippines, often showing her around and I guess her cuteness protects my cellphone. I’m not counting on for someone to take her; of course I have to be careful and not to let my guard down. I guess we can say because of her cuteness, it becomes the factor where she protected my precious gadget.

It's Pink, cute and affordable!

Bunny Wallet

I am always on the hunt for something cute and affordable finds. I can't seem to avoid such cuteness whenever I encounter them, one here is a Bunny wallet bought at P20.00 store, worth P20.00!! The texture of this wallet is very soft and cottony, perfect to pair up with that pink cute oufit you have^^ The ears extend upwards, and what I love about it is that when I put it on my front pocket those ears just pop up, it's easy to pick it up and looks so cute too. It has big space inside, sometimes I use it to tuck my earphone inside.

POWDER SPONGE

I bought this for those times that I'm in a hurry and don't have much time to clean my sponges, this one is pink, cottony and of course cute!

Sign Pen

These two cute Hello Kitty babies writes beautifully, their ink easily dries so it won't mess up your writings especially in accidents when you suddenly touched newly written letters, they are quite handy for that quick note. I use this for my art, my emoti-animes. Bought at Uno @ P19.50 each

These scotch tapes are similar to Washi tapes, they have cute designs available, a bundle about 10 pcs. costs P20.00 at Novotel Monumento

These folders may not be pink but it is into our category of cute and affordable. It is made out of plastic, so guarantee that papers inside is safe!

Hello Kitty Keychains
This irrestable keychain I bought at P20.00 at P20 stores. I placed it to my cellphone.

That's Susci and behind her is the Hello Kitty keychain, the heart embedded in Hello Kitty's comes in variety of colors, violet, red, blue and Pink!

The Pink Cottony ball is very soft!

Rilakkuma Watch

I was strolling around the Savemore Mall at Laguna when I found these at sale price is set at P50.00 per watch. I loved how cute it is on my wrist, plus it fits well, I always having a hard time fitting watches because of my wrist shape so I end up looking at Kids section :P

Ancien Diary

Last but not the least, bought at Uno @ P114.50, Ancien Diary. I bought this in search of a great organizer for school and blog.
