Lately, I have a hang-over of the greatest fight in the north of GOT and being invited over to a museum full of history was by far the best feeling to appreciate that we have past similar to theirs, less the dragons, I guess.

The coolest part of our history is that our very own countrymen, Filipinos which were referred as Indios at that time, have carved their own interpretations of God, The Holy Family, the saints which in their coming from their own creativity preserved a timeline wherein Catholicism was introduced.

    Entrance Fee:

Free for 6 months starting May 2, 2019

    Location:

Corner Arzobispo and Anda Streets, Intramuros, Manila (beside the Arzobispado de Manila)

    Operating hours:

    Tuesdays to Fridays, 9:00 am - 5:00pm
    Fully Airconditioned with restrooms

We were near the site as early as 9:00 am because we had to cover a shoot hours before and waited till the opening of the museum.

It was a short walk from Manila Cathedral where we passed by, from where I first saw it was from the side, still unpainted, which I thought was the entrance but there actual entrance on the other side.

    First Floor highlights

Once inside, we were greeted by the carved statue and a signing table on the side. The first floor doors open up and a bright room with all the historical pieces are displayed.

The museum's current in-house exhibition presents the story of evangelization of the Philippines from the Perspective of the Filipinos.

1). Imagenes / Indigena and Imaculate Conception room

At my back are the carved depictions of women with inspirations from virgin mary.

When the Spaniards came, they were in shock with Indio women because they were bare-breasted and they had no manners, so they set up a model for the women to emulate, and the best role model is none other than Immaculate Conception or the Virgin Mary.

    2. The Religious Order

These carved wooden statues from different interpretations of God and saints.

    3. The Patronato Real and the Establishment of Parishes

Laid at the floor are pieces which helped Filipinos learn how to combine each piece some which are used for altars.

A water reservoir during the Spanish era preserved.

An undiscovered area which is a mystery to the public. Just look at how eery that look like.

    Second Floor Highlights

    4. The Indio response

What I like the second floor is that there were stunning displays which clearly used by the churches, shiny pieces that seem to tantalize and dozens of carving interpretations of God and The Holy family.
The museum is located in two important reconstructions inside the walled city:

The San Ignacio Church and The Mission House of the Society of Jesus

    5. Religious Colonial Paintings and
    6. Establishment of a Parish and Sacred Vessels.

A magnificent display of the Eucharist and Virgin Mary, the intrinsic designs that gives of baroque vibe can still be appreciated even with a silver medium.

These Sacred Vessels does give that GOT feels but these silversmiths were made by firstly Chinese, then eventually Filipinos learned to do them.

    Third Floor highlights

The third floor consists of a cute miniature replica of Churches and Spanish houses. If you'll check closely some are made with the tiniest detail, if you love miniatures, this is one floor that you'd like to visit.

If you move further to the side they have a room which has a projector showing films about the museum.

Also on the third floor, you'll see small bones of animals and porcelain Chinese pieces full of history and the one souvenir and future plans for a historical mall and cafe about to emerge. They also have a map of Intramuros and so.

You've got to check this future mall and cafe, they plan it to harmonize with the historical pieces in their accent. So it's like a mall museum cafe!

I've enjoyed every bit of history that I've seen in fact it reminded me of my purpose and inspiration. If you've visited Intramuros, come check the place out!

Hello to all dollies and princes! I know you are all busy with your summer get-aways and travel goals. I'm here to share mine too, although don't expect too much. I only did simple things at home this weekend but I so wanted to show you all a simple yet fun things I did.

It all started early morning weekend, we scheduled a quick visit to our thrifty shops for gifts and unexpected things happened. We thought of visiting a new mall in town, well it opened for quite some time already but I was dying to check it out since it was on our way to the initial destination. It was Ayala Malls cloverleaf, located at the Balintawak cloverleaf intersection, the mall stood adjacent to the wet market and opposite the church and main road. This is not a sponsored post.
The time I visited, they were setting up this program and there weren't many people around, maybe it's because it's too early yet. We had the mall all to our own and strolled in to every shop I could find. It was very nice inside, really chilly airconditioning, perfect for hot summers to stay here and avoid the heat. The excalators are available in each ends and there are good security guards on their duties.

I found these mannequin line up at the shop and they have the perfect #ootd summer inspo I am loving! I was not able to get close up though since I got overly shy that we're the only customers visiting at that moment and all I do is get engrossed with their mannequins! Just look at those baby blue beauty and monochrome elegance, oh gosh! It's a a crush! They look just comfy to take around this summer and surely give you all the freedom for movement.

oh, and how can I forget? My #ootd is a plain white one-piece loli dress and just my favorite black doll shoes and leather hand bag put together and did I tell you these definitely turns some heads. They say the simplier it is, the better and I can relate. They may look monochromatic whites or blacks but they steal stares in elegance and simplicity. Did I mention how comfortable they were?

Alright, back to the story. After a quick stroll at Cloverleaf we then proceeded to the shop and bought the Mothers day slash Christmas slash Valentines slash Happy Birthday gifts for my Mom and relatives. It was so delayed because of some shipping reasons but I'm glad they still arrived. The package is circular so i had to consult the internet how to pack in irregular shaped gifts. I scored a matching gift wrap from National Bookstore and I know they're going to love the giftz.
This sunday though I was thrilled that our spice drenched barbeque is ready to be sizzled in drizzling hot fire and digged in for some barbeque sunday. Grill is incredible during the summer, I can't imagine a summer without it and as usual we use the traditional grilling tools that I find most effective in bringing out the flavor of my dishes.
While eating the barbeque, we heard a lot of summer cicadas and felt exactly how it is like in Anime summer episodes. Our house is blessed with nature in the middle of the metro and seeing rare types of animals, giants or migratory birds are not unusual. After all, the rest of the location are filled with buildings and they have our land as their last stand of home. Most of them have been here for years, although it sounds heavenly, we also get threats from wild snakes and giant brown recluse. Yet, we don't want to give up this Eden that most animals treat as paradise too.

Berkeley residences keep a little secret to its passerby and people seldom notice the beauty of what is in front of them. It's this <pink sakura-like tiny tree located just at the entrance.

I wouldn't wonder why people don't notice it that much. It seldom blooms this flower and only lasts for a few weeks.

The soft pink colors and the metallic color of the building give off the feeling nature modernity in the city. For a Moe like me, whenever I see a tree resembling much of a Sakura tree in Japan, I always feel a skip of a heartbeat. It's because of most anime feature this tree in a fun, dramatic and reminiscing beautiful appreciation of nature and it's so much like the feeling of Christmas for Moe.

The tree withers and loses its flowers but this pictures just captured that very second that it bloomed so gracefully. I cannot wait for the next time I see it bloom again, it gives me a feeling of happiness. It may sound shallow to you but sometimes we are so engrossed in the daily life that we fail to appreciate what's around us.

I was on my way to work when I saw this and I never failed to appreciate the small token of appreciation it is giving to nature.

I want to see more of this trees around and I want to see it in full bloom, it would be dreamy to see them on a pathway. I also dream of the same as other Moes, a walk to a beautiful pathway of flowers and sakura trees, a beautiful clean rivers and a serene picture of surroundings.

I believe that this is achievable if all are cooperative and strive to do a common goal, after all we are humans and aren't we the top in intelligence on the pyramid of animal wits.

This tree is different with a Sakura tree as this has a hint of yellow on its middle flower and unlike a Cherry blossom, it's smaller and blooms few flowers.

So, that's the last season I saw this beautiful tree bloomed, I'm going to wait for another year again to see it. Hopefully, I see it bloom more flowers than ever.

Thank you for the astonishing view Mr. Tree, till next time again.

One of my dreams is to travel internationally. My bucket list includes visiting the romantic City of Paris and I am delighted to be able to share with you the places that I plan to visit.

A creative artist needs an inspiration. Inspiration is everything in creation, it is the invisible force or a fuel in order for an artist to create unimaginable unique art.

Paris is one of the dreamy cities where all the creativity had poured out from each artist and brought them to life.

Every inch of the city is a masterpiece and no doubt it is on my list, even their official language has art!

Nowadays, the Greatest Investment is Experience and what better way to do that is to enjoy visiting the places that would get me to enjoy and at the same time boost up all my creativity.

I have to be prepared for the worst, my stomach might get upset, if worse comes to worse, I should have a medicine prepared for diarrhea, United Home Loperamide (Lormide) for only PHP 8.00 per piece, is a must to have in my medicine pack.

On my second day, I'm planning to visit would be
    The Famous Eiffel Tower

Taking pictures and finding the most romantic spot would be my best things to do for this day.
It would be wonderful to visit some of the streets surrounding the Eiffel, grab some morning breakfast and go sight seeing.

I would definitely be trying out a different tour, riding a royal horse and carriage in Paris seemed the best experience if I am tired of walking around.

I found a perfect booking for the Ride.

At Night, Paris comes alive and I think it would definitely be great to Cruise at Seine River.
At 85 euros I could get an intimate dinner by the window while cruising and book with no hassle!

Then After the Romantic dinner, I shall then go back to the Hotel to be prepared for tomorrow's new itinerary!

While Yesterdays was all about Romance today would be getting back with my childhood dreams.
I booked in T2 Traslados for my transfers ride to DISNEYLAND and vice versa!

    Yes, we're going to Disneyland!

I would have my whole day at Disney as I know that a whole day's not even enough to enjoy the fun and excitement at rides and sightseeing places here.

After a long tiring day at Disneyland, I would be having dinner at my hotel for a change and to review all the pictures that I've taken so far.

At night, I have to make sure that I get immunity boosted up at night, Doctors recommend United Home Ceetab (Ascorbic Acid), only for P1.75 per piece for tomorrow's big day!

For this type of transportation, you can book T2 Traslados using the Check In and Out, then choose the destination to Other places, type Notre Dam Paris, you'll see Cathedrale Notre Dam de Paris in the suggestions and choose the location.

At night it would be great to ride in the Grande Roue and visit Place de la Concorde!
At night, The Ferris wheel looked astonishingly romantic and Grande perfect scene to steal a kiss from your loved one.
On my last day in Paris, would be my Souvenir day

These cute miniature Eiffel Towers are quite cute and a good souvenir to remember.

Now to make sure that my way back to the airport is hassle free and in style.
Book T2 Traslados with departure for Step 1 and place the pickup and destination.

    It's 55 euros as calculated.

I would imagine myself becoming emotional as I leave Paris, but hey I could go back again and maybe visit even more places that I haven't been to, right?

What can you say about this little traveling in style to Paris dream?
Do you have any other places you can suggest that I should go to?
If you do, write in the comments section.

Dreams like mine are not impossible to attain, as long as you don't stop believing and take action to pursue it.
Live life the way you want it to be.
Dreams are illustrations from the book your soul is writing about you.
